If you have a question or a suggestion, you may submit it as a FAQ. Your question is submitted totally anonymously. Your question will be reviewed and answered prior to it being visible on the website. This process may take several days.
What jobs are there that will cover the volunteer bond?
Becoming an active executive member, tournament director, grill coordinator, coach, team manager or working at scheduled Association level fundraising events are all activities that will count toward your volunteer bond. Also, the sponsor television maintenance, individual team website reporter, jersy carriers or organizing and assisting with specific events such as picture night, Minor Hockey Week committee, power skating and registration all count toward your volunteer bond.
How many concession shifts are we required to do? If you are a coach, assistant coach, manager, etc. are they decreased by any?
You are required to work 2 concession shifts for each child you have registered in VMHA. Each concession shift is 4 hours. One shift must be worked before December 31. The second shift must be worked before March 31.
A coach will receive 2 concession shifts off. An assistant coach will receive 2 concession shifts off except if there are two assistant coaches for a team, each assistant coach will receive 1 concession shift off. A team manager will receive 1 concession shift off. An active executive member will not be required to work any concession shifts.
