Provincial Games
Good luck to all our teams who are participating in the Provincial Playdowns.

Please remember that Provincial Playdown games take precedence and each round must be completed within a specified timeframe. All league games must also be completed by February 12, 2012. With sixteen teams this season and with both Provincial Playdown and League games having to be completed within the specified time frames, some practices may have to be cancelled or moved to accomodate these games.

Pond Skate
POND SKATE - JAN 31, Feb 1 & Feb 2, 2012
As part of the Minor Hockey Week events, the POND SKATE, scheduled for the evenings of Jan 17, 18 & 19, 2012 from 5 - 9 pm, was POSTPONED TO JAN 31, FEB 1 & FEB 2. There is no designated night for specific age groups. This is a great event, enjoyed by all and a unique experience for our kids!
Help is still needed for this event. Zero Tolerance - New Head Shot Rule
Hockey Alberta would like to remind all of its members and participants that the new Head Contact Rule is in effect immediately for the 2011-12 hockey season.
