Raffle Fundraiser
With the unsold raffle books that VMH has remaining, and assuming that half of the tickets that are still out with the families are unsold, there are approximately 400 tickets left to sell. Now that we know where we stand with sales, we would love to sell this raffle out....
A reminder to all members: If we want to keep the registration fees down without larger fundraising initiatives, then it is very difficult for our association to function, financially. If extra fundraising is not part of the equation, then members can look forward to an increase in fees. Over the years, VMH has not had many fee increases nor has our organization had much fundraising that our members have been required to do; other local hockey associations do it as a mandatory requirement.
If you have already handed your tickets in, and know of more folks who would be interested, contact Heather and she will get another book to you ASAP. - queencrk@xplornet.ca
There will also be another collection night next week - Wednesday, May 10, from 5:00 to 6:00pm at the stadium.

RAFFLE TICKET NUMBERS 26 - 30 HAVE BEEN LOST AND WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE DRAW.

There will be 1200 tickets available to be sold on the following raffle prizes:
1st Prize - 2016 Polaris Ranger value $14,299.00
2nd Prize - 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570 Quad value $7,999.00
3rd Prize - Generator/Chainsaw Package value $2,278.95
Tickets will be $50 each, and will be distributed to each family through team managers. We are asking that each family sell one book (5 tickets). Draw will take place on July 29/17 at Vermilion Fair Grounds.
We also ask that moneys from sold tickets be held with each family until specified 'collection' dates/locations are posted. (will aim to have one collection day/month). If you have $$ from sold tickets before December 14, there will be an executive meeting the evening of December 14; catch our awesome Treasurer Leanne, in the stadium lobby prior to this meeting.
The tickets will be distributed to all managers by Dec. 1st. Heather O will be contacting the managers to make arrangements and go over a couple AGLC requirements.
